Loren Daniel Bunner was arrested after posting the pictures on Instagram of him and 18-year-old Jolee Callan in what appear to be the hours before her death
A man accused of murdering his 18-year-old girlfriend posted pictures of the pair on an idyllic hiking date hours after she was found dead.
Teeanger Jolee Callan was found dead near the Pinhoti Trail at the Cheaha State Park in Florida on August 30.
Just hours after her body was discovered, her 20-year-old boyfriend Loren Daniel Bunner posted a series of pictures of the Jolee at what appears to be the state park.
He wrote a number of posts alongside the pictures such as "On our way to go hiking" and "Oh, ya know. Just enjoying the view."
Just hours later he was arrested on suspicion of her murder.
He had also posted a selfie hours before her murder, along with the message: "Taking Kiba on a hike tomorrow, so I guess things are looking up."
According to Bunner's arrest warrant he allegedly shot and killed Jolee with a small revolver pistol.
A police statement said: "Several agencies were on the scene due to the uncertainty of the location of the crime.
"Further investigation and the location of the crime scene showed that the crime had taken place in Clay County just off the Pinhoti Trail near the State Park."
Hundreds of friends and family turned out for the tragic teenager's funeral yesterday.
Bunner has been remanded in custody with a $150,000 (£99,000) bond.
He will next appear in court on October 6.
